Crafted from “Hitomebore” rice grown at the foot of Mount Izumigatake, nourished by the purest ichiban-mizu― the first pristine runoff from the mountain streams. The brewing water is drawn from the very same aquifer, 80 meters beneath Izumigatake, ensuring that both rice and water share a single, immaculate source.
The result is a sake born of absolute harmony between rice and water―a true expression of Sendai’s terroir, with a clarity and balance only possible when both elements spring from the same origin.
